Day of Sharing
Hello friends! Upper Room Food Bank is a member of a network of food banks in Nova Scotia, lead by Feed Nova Scotia. We enjoy a close and wonderful relationship with the team at Feed Nova Scotia. They provide help, food and support our efforts to feed the members of our community here in Kingston/Greenwood NS.
Last Friday was our 'Day of Sharing' and, as always, this full day event was informative, and enjoyable. The food was delicious and the people were warm and inclusive. Thank you Feed Nova Scotia for a wonderful day!

It is with sad hearts we announce the sudden passing of our Board member and friend Leslie Gordon Morse.

Food Bank Scramble
Jason Phinney presented a check for over $4000 pus 169 lbs of food to Sharon Hatt Chair Person of the Upper Room Food Bank after a successful golf tournament held the end of May.
Thank you from the Board of Directors to Jason and all thoes who participated and contributed to this event. We truly value our community partners.
